Accommodation

These are the places I stayed, even if they were ordinary I'll give you a brief on them and let you make up your own mind...

BALI
Hidden Oasis Bed and Breakfast - A$36, King bed, nice room, smells like mozzie chemicals though. This will be by far my most expensive room. Located in the heart of Kuta, not my favourite place in the world, the beaches are dirty the tourists are in crisis but the food is good!
Rita Hotel - A$17, two single beds, nice place for the price. Pretty standard as far as high season prices go. Located at the start of Poppies 1.
Biang's Cafe and Homestay - A$13.80, Jl Sukma, Ubud. Cannot rave enough about Biangs great food, friendly service and amazing home stay. If you go to Ubud, go here! Make sure you get Banana Pancakes for breakfast.
Ari homestay - A$13.80, Sanur. Nice place, close to the beach.
Next door to Padang Padang Inn - Expensive and didn't include breakfast, wasn't the friendliest service so overall it gets and 'Eh'
Hadi Poetra Inn - South of Kuta, close to the airport, RP40,000 for an airport transfer. Nice people, average accommodation but really helpfull! Helped Amiee find new accom in the overpriced Jimbaran!

CAMBODIA
Okay Guesthouse, Phnom Penh - $5, this place is awesome, lonely planet actually has this one right! The food is a little bit exy but it's really good. The rooms are clean but the staff are not as friendly as they were last time...odd.
Bophoa Tya Kampong Cham - $5, nice and clean, close to the market and right on top of a pharmacy where the pharmacist speaks really good english.
Soh Sok Hotel. Stung Treng - $6 niceish room, bit smelly, staff were friendly.

LAOS
Fang Sedon Guesthouse Pakse - $6 nice oldish rooms right on the river. Clean rooms, friendly staff and a great location.
Paksong Can't remember the name of the hotel but it was cheap $4.50 and on the main street like everything other one. About 200m from Mr Koffie's shop.
Tim Guesthouse Tat Lo - $4.40 This one is in the lonely planet, can't really recommend it but the mozzie screens work really well. The beds are hard and the staff aren't really interested. Look elsewhere.
